These last few years have seen quite a flurry of life-altering events, and 2015 was no different. Most notable was the birth of a baby girl, and the completion of our family of four. My partner landed a dream job of sorts; the kind of job that you hope to keep until retirement. Our eldest daughter moved to a French language school, and I love when she calls me "maman". Crafting has been slow, but that's expected when you have a little baby around.
But hey, I'm not expecting 2016 to be dull either. I'll be going back to my old job in a few short weeks, joining the ranks of millions of other working mothers in the search for a healthy balance between family, work, and myself. However, this time around, I'm going to put more efforts towards my own health and happiness. Nothing complicated: just enjoying simple and fresh meals, taking time for artistic endeavours, connecting with close friends, spending family time outdoors, using vacation days to do nothing much, and indulging in a few treats just for me, here and there.
And of course, I'm looking forward to spending another year right here, with you.
